Position Overview
This is a long-term, part-time contractor position (starting at under 10 hours/week) with the potential to grow into full-time. If you're someone who doesn’t just want to design but wants to understand the "why" behind each project, take ownership of your work, and collaborate with a thoughtful, strategy-minded team, this might be the perfect next step.
You’ll get to wear many hats, from branding and layout design to light web development and template creation. You’ll be encouraged to grow your skills, pitch your ideas, and be involved in creative campaigns that matter.
Key Responsibilities
Branding & Design
- Create and refine client branding (logos, colors, fonts, moodboards)
- Create pinterest boards and assist in planning client and team photoshoots
- Design graphics for social media, emails, documents, and web use
- Build branded assets like custom icons and local area maps
- Ensure all visuals align with client brand guidelines and tone
- Edits to photos
Website Design & Build-Out
- Design and build websites using Squarespace and WordPress (Elementor)
- Support layout, image selection, and flow to reflect each client’s brand (note: we do have tech support for more complex builds)
- Update or improve existing client websites as needed
Templates & Systems
- Build Canva templates for recurring use in client content
- Design email templates and branded materials for team use
- Create assets that can scale across platforms and client campaigns
What We’re Looking For
- Strong design sense and attention to detail
- Experience with Squarespace and Elementor
- Proficiency in Canva and Adobe Creative Suite
- Ability to work with existing brand guidelines and create new ones when needed
- Clear, reliable communication and ability to work independently
- Based in Madrid and available during Eastern Time hours
