Descripción completa del empleo
RemoFirst is transforming the way businesses hire and manage global teams. Our mission is to enable Freedom of Work by providing an all-in-one global HR platform that simplifies hiring, compliance, payroll, and benefits management. We partner with some of the world’s most innovative companies, including Fortune 500 businesses and leading startups.
We are a small but strong team of 200+ people (and growing) hyper-focused on delivering a world-class platform and unparalleled service with our industry-leading partnerships.
We’re hiring a Product Operations Manager to drive clarity, speed, and excellence across our product organization. You’ll act as the connective tissue between Product, Engineering, and cross-functional teams (Sales, Customer Success, Finance, Compliance, Legal).
Your mission is to create leverage for the product team—through structured processes, actionable data, and proactive communication. You’ll ensure the right systems, insights, and documentation are in place to help the product scale efficiently and autonomously.
Key Responsibilities
- Data & Insights:
- Build and maintain dashboards (e.g., Quicksight, SQL, Excel) to help PMs and leadership make evidence-based decisions.
- Define key product health metrics (adoption, retention, support load) and drive consistent reporting.
- Partner with engineering and data teams to improve data accessibility and trust
- Cross-Functional Alignment:
- Translate between product, engineering, and go-to-market teams to ensure smooth collaboration.
- Drive alignment with Support, Compliance, Legal, Finance
- Launch Readiness & Coordination:
- Own the end-to-end process for product releases, ensuring readiness across Marketing, Client Comms, and Sales.
- Build and run launch checklists, retrospectives, and release health reviews.
- Manage change communication and ensure downstream teams have what they need to deliver.
- Process Design & Continuous Improvement:
- Identify inefficiencies and standardize product team workflows (planning, documentation, reviews).
- Build repeatable systems for roadmap visibility, KPI tracking, and feedback cycles.
What We’re Looking For
- 2-5 years of experience in Product Operations, Product Management, or BizOps in a tech environment.
- Strong data skills (SQL or equivalent proficiency).
- Excellent communication skills; proven ability to work cross-functionally and influence without authority.
- Strong system-thinking mindset—you thrive on solving organizational friction through process and tools.
- Ability to work autonomously in a distributed environment; self-starter who can own projects end-to-end.
What you’ll need:
- Prior experience supporting a global or multi-country product launch environment.
- Experience aligning operations across Product, Customer Success, and Finance.
- Proficiency in English is a must.
- Communication skills: Strong project management and stakeholder coordination abilities. You’ll often need to influence rather than instruct, showing empathy, understanding, and the ability to get things done without direct authority.
- Planning and Organisation: You’ll be running multiple initiatives in parallel, so exceptional organisational skills and excitement for a dynamic workload are key.
- Problem Identification: You’ll be expected to examine complex business situations, detect underlying issues, and investigate solutions systematically to improve or build efficient systems.
- Analytical Thinking: As a critical thinker, you can interpret and challenge data effectively—spotting patterns, identifying insights, and extracting meaningful conclusions that lead to action.
- Product Mindset: You understand how empowered, agile product organisations operate and can apply that mindset to optimise internal processes.
- Bias to Action: You take ownership, keep momentum high, and find ways to move projects forward with minimal support or supervision.
Why work at RemoFirst?
- Startup environment: RemoFirst is an early-stage startup. You have a voice that can influence, and grow rapidly. An opportunity to build a tech unicorn.
- Growth opportunity: This is a chance to join an AI-forward company driving innovation through artificial intelligence. As Senior Product Operations Manager you're ensuring that the product owners, designers and engineers, have everything they need to succeed.
- Direct impact: Your work will be at the center of how we grow revenue, support customers, and differentiate in the market.
- Autonomy and Accountability: We value autonomy and accountability — there’s no bureaucracy or lengthy approval process. We prioritize speed and results to keep moving forward effectively.
- Work for a Market Leader: Scale a project that counts market-leading companies like Microsoft, Mastercard, and more as happy customers.
- Leadership visibility: Reporting into the Head of Product which means your projects will be strategic and business-critical.
- Compensation and perks are great: Competitive compensation. 100% remote work.
- Culture: You will get to work with some of the best colleagues coming from top tech companies. We lead with respect, kindness, and the right to fail. We value hard yet smart work. Diversity and inclusion are part of our DNA. As we grow and evolve, we welcome your input to help us define our culture further.
We may use artificial intelligence (AI) tools to support parts of the hiring process, such as reviewing applications, analyzing resumes, or assessing responses and identifying potential inconsistencies or verification signals in application materials based on available information. These tools assist our recruitment team but do not replace human judgment. Final hiring decisions are ultimately made by humans. If you would like more information about how your data is processed, please contact us.
