Responsibilities:
What will you do?
  • The individual will be responsible to manage the Machine solutions and HMI portfolio of services and products that serve multiple market segments and customer verticals across Schneider Electric. They will partner closely with our product portfolio, sales and operational teams to help define and implement go-to-market strategies.
  • Work with global sales and marketing to gather business needs, organize product requirements, and determine the current needs of all Machine Solution programs, channels and products.
  • Assist in driving company objectives and growth projections for all Machine Solutions and HMI and HMI product lines
  • Participate with global marketing to ensure value proposition is clear and required marketing collateral is in place
  • Work within the Schneider Electric Offer Creation Process to ensure that all steps are taken with creation of business justification, scope definition for development, and offer launch plans.
  • Develop sales strategy, sales forecasts and business plans for growth of the Machine Solutions and HMI and HMI business
  • Strategic focus: Identify focus areas /preferred targets for growth. The relevant factors are geographic, application segment, customer type, access channel, Schneider and competitor replacement targets
  • Offer management focus: Classic marketing offer management. Maintain, evolve, enhance the existing portfolio. Relevant aspects are scope, features, pricing. Collaborate with Schneider marketing, sales, finance teams to develop relevant business metrics.
  • Offer deployment focus: collaborate with Schneider marketing, sales and delivery teams to develop effective growth campaign across all regions
  • Perform presales consulting to assist the sales team in proposing the best commercial and technical offer for the customer as it relates to competitive migration
  • Assist in negotiating and closing business dealings
  • Work with others to identify, develop and launch bundled service offers.
What qualifications will make you successful?
  • Candidates with 4-5 years of experience in business development/sales/sales support and strong marketing skills are essential.
  • Strong technical aptitude in factory automation
  • Possess strong experience with Schneider or 3rd party Machine solution companies
  • Ideal Candidate will have a BS in Electrical, Mechanical or Instrumentation Engineering
  • Ideal Candidate will be a strategic thinker and able to work in global team environment
