Job Overview
The Business Development Manager plays a pivotal role in driving business and revenue growth, focusing on expanding BioScience's presence in new global markets. This role involves setting strategic goals, developing market entry plans, and executing initiatives to effectively penetrate target regions. A key responsibility includes conducting in-depth market research to identify potential distributors and prospective accounts, followed by engaging stakeholders through company and product presentations. The role also requires negotiating agreements and closing deals, demanding strong interpersonal, communication, and analytical skills.
Key ResponsibilitiesMarket Expansion & Strategic Planning
- Develop and implement strategies to expand BioScience brands in both new and existing markets.
- Leverage market research to identify, evaluate, and establish partnerships with potential distributors and key accounts.
- Conduct onsite visits to partners' offices to assess profiles, ensure alignment with company objectives, and build strong business relationships.
Market Research & Competitive Analysis
- Conduct thorough market research to identify growth opportunities, analyze trends, and assess competitive landscapes.
- Utilize data-driven insights to refine business development strategies and optimize market penetration.
Sales & Deal Closure
- Drive revenue growth by negotiating and finalizing partnership agreements with distributors and key stakeholders.
- Ensure profitable and sustainable business agreements that align with BioScience’s long-term objectives.
Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Work closely with Regulatory Affairs, Marketing, Medical, Logistics, and other departments to ensure seamless execution of business development strategies.
- Align market expansion efforts with operational capabilities to optimize business performance.
Lead Management & Relationship Building
- Follow up on new business leads generated by the company, managing them through the sales cycle to successful conversion.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers and stakeholders to foster long-term partnerships.
Experience & QualificationsExperience
- Minimum 5+ years of experience in operations, sales, and key account management, preferably in the medical devices or pharmaceutical industry.
- Proven track record in international business expansion and strategic market penetration.
- Strong negotiation skills with experience in closing high-value deals.
- Experience working in fast-paced, growth-oriented environments.
Required Skills & Competencies
- Fluency in English (Spanish is a plus).
- Exceptional business development and sales expertise, with a strong ability to identify opportunities and execute growth strategies.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to influence decision-makers.
- Strong analytical and market research abilities, enabling data-driven decision-making.
- Proficiency in developing and delivering compelling business presentations.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a cross-functional environment.
- Results-driven mindset, with a focus on achieving targets and driving revenue growth.

- Budget management experience and strong numerical skills.
- Availability to travel internationally (approximately 30%).
Education & Credentials
- Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Sales, or a related field.
