As part of our recent expansion into Spain are now looking for experienced Dog Trainers and/or Behaviorists who have the ability to board & train dogs at home. (This could either be a freelance/fixed fee per dog trained or a full-time position)

THE APPLICANTS SHOULD HAVE PROVEN EXPERIENCE WITH EITHER OR BOTH :
- Basic on and advanced off-leash obedience
- Anxious dogs
- Dog-Dog | Dog-Human Aggression
The position involves working from our location to work with dogs that are boarding with us, conducting 1-2-1 dog training sessions, consultations, and handover sessions writing clients' training assessment/support guides, video editing, and promoting Active Canine.
WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR IN YOU:
- You must be able to travel to hold a valid drivers license and be able to safely transport dogs
- Proven professional experience as a dog trainer and/or dog behaviorist
- Proven experience working with off-leash obedience and/or dogs that have behavioral issues, ie aggression & anxiety, or advanced off-leash obedience training
- Good communication skills with clients
- Excellent written and oral skills
- A natural confident, passionate manner is essential as you will be working with dogs of all breeds, shapes, and sizes.
- Committed & hard-working individual who shows up on time and is not afraid of putting in the work/hours
- Fluent in either Dutch or English (or both)
- Willingness to learn
- Full & clean license
- Your own car or van
