JOB TITLE:

Receptionist + Sales Representative

WORK RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Greet customers, walk them and greet them to their designated barber.
  • Advise assigned barber about customer’s arrival and update them about the services they want.
  • Confirm appointments of customers via telephone.
  • Process cash and credit card transactions.
  • Ensure sales are inputted correctly into the POS
  • Prepare and offer drinks & converse with customers who are sitting in the waiting area of our salon.
  • Answer inquiries of clients regarding the beauty services of the salon and schedule their appointments.
  • Notify customers about new offers and services of the salon on a timely basis.
  • Provide cross-sell services through brochures and gift vouchers whenever applicable.
  • Interview clients to obtain information to assess to suitability of treatments.
  • Advise clients skin care and recommend appropriate home care regimens and treatments.
  • Keep the reception area, bathroom and main salon clean.
  • Maintain reception presentable at all times including dusting product shelf when needed/
  • Ensure kitchen is clean at all times & organise weekly groceries.
  • Ensure all barbers have towels in their station.
  • Help barbers clean between services to prepare for next client.
  • Help barbers prepare hot & cold towels.
  • Update stock & inventory when needed.
  • Prepare order lists & inform manager of orders needed.
  • Help take pictures/videos for social media when needed.
  • Inform manager when brochures & salon business cards need to be ordered.
  • Be willing to collaborate in small errands when needed for business operation. eg. Heading to the shop to purchase a missing item if needed urgently.

WORK REQUIREMENTS:

  • Languages: English + Spanish (additional languages are a bonus)
  • Basic computer skills
  • Exceptional communication skills
  • Exceptional sales skills
  • Excellent record-keeping skills
  • Ability to handle monetary transactions
  • Good customer service and organization skills
  • Ability to work under pressure
  • Ability to maintain customer confidentiality
  • Ability to work in a team is a MUST

WORK HOURS:

LOW SEASON (January - May + November)
Monday - Friday 10:00 - 18:00
*45 mins lunch break included*

HIGH SEASON (June - October + December)
Monday - Friday 10:00 - 18:00
*45 mins lunch break included*

FESTIVOS/HOLIDAYS
10:00 - 17:00
*30 mins lunch break included*
You will work every other holiday, alternating holidays with the afternoon shift recepcionist.

The shop is closed only on the following holidays:

- New Years Day (1st of January)

- Labor Day (1st of May)

- Christmas Day (25th of December)

WORK OFFER:

  • Base Salary: 1300€
  • Commission: 15% of any product sold
  • Contract: Full-time contract with social security (after trial)
