About Us:

We are creating a new, independent clothing line based in the Marbella area, focused on

creating unique, locally inspired apparel. We are passionate about slow fashion, sustainable

practices, and building a creative community. We are seeking a talented and driven fashion

school graduate to join us in the initial stages of development, with the potential to grow into

a collaborative collective.

Job Description:

We are looking for a highly creative and hands-on fashion design collaborator to contribute

to the design and production of our initial clothing line. This is an exciting opportunity to be

part of building a brand from the ground up and to showcase your design skills in a dynamic

and collaborative environment.

Responsibilities:

Design & Concept Development:

○ Collaborate on the development of seasonal collections, including concept

boards, mood boards, and sketches.

○ Research current fashion trends and incorporate them into original designs,

while maintaining a unique brand aesthetic.

○ Develop technical drawings and specifications for garment construction.

Pattern Making & Garment ConstructionCreate patterns from design sketches, including drafting, draping, and digital

pattern making (if applicable).

○ Source and select appropriate fabrics and trims, considering quality,

sustainability, and cost.

○ Construct sample garments and prototypes, ensuring high-quality

craftsmanship.

○ Conduct fittings and make necessary adjustments to patterns and garments.

Production & Sourcing:

○ Assist in sourcing local suppliers and manufacturers.

○ Complete small-scale production runs, ensuring timely delivery and quality

control.

○ Maintain accurate records of materials, patterns, and production processes.

Collaboration & Communication:

○ Work closely with the founder to develop and refine the brand vision.

○ Participate in brainstorming sessions and contribute innovative ideas.

○ Communicate effectively with suppliers, manufacturers, and potential

collaborators.

Potential Collective Growth:

○ As the brand grows, participate in the creation of a local fashion collective,

including networking with other local designers, and helping to organize

events.

Social Media & Promotion:

○ Contribute to the development of social media content and promotional

materials.

○ Assist in staging clothing for photography and videography for promotional

purposes.

Qualifications:

● Recent graduate from a recognized fashion design program.

● Strong understanding of garment construction, pattern making, and sewing

techniques.

● Proficiency in design software (e.g., Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, CAD) is a plus.

● Excellent creative and problem-solving skills.

● Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

● Strong attention to detail and a commitment to 1 quality.

● Passion for sustainable and ethical fashion practices.

● Living in or willing to relocate to the Marbella area.

● Ability to provide a portfolio of work.

● Knowledge of social media promotion and advertising is a significant asset.

● Ability to stage clothing for promotional photography/videography is preferred.

Languages:

● Fluent Spanish and English preferred
