At TecAlliance, IT and automotive specialists collaborate to digitize the automotive spare parts market. We are not just witnessing the future of the market together - we are shaping it. More than 900 colleagues work tirelessly across 140 countries, and the numbers are growing. We are owned by 34 automotive companies such as Bosch, Continental, or ZF and take pride in connecting all data for them.

Adapting to change, our team blends traditional tasks with new possibilities in the serverless DevOps landscape. Key responsibilities like Alerting, Incident Management, and Monitoring remain crucial, now enriched by AWS/Azure capabilities. From distinct roles to overlapping responsibilities, our team collaborates seamlessly, aligning Deployment with Development and overseeing the entire process. With a shared responsibility for security and staying updated on AWS/Azure trends, the evolving team dynamics will work together across the DevOps Cycle. Join our international team as the new DevOps Engineer (m/f/d)!

Main Responsibilities:
  • CI/CD: Management and automation of Continuous Integration, Development, and Deployment Cycles, including code merging, compile automation and packaging.
  • Feature Monitoring: Monitoring performance, behavior and availability of system features.
  • Feature Maintenance: Ensuring stability, uptime and maintenance of network, storage, platform, compute, and security posture.
  • Optimization and Controlling: Optimization and controlling of resources, costs and performance, involving parameter and configuration management for RAM usage.
  • AWS/Azure Resource Provisioning: Creation, debugging and usage of Terraform for provisioning AWS resources.
  • Alerting and Incident Management: Identification, coordination, communication, determination, and resolution of errors.
  • Security Management: Determining security risks, managing error budgets, and practicing site reliability engineering.
  • Compliance: Ensuring observability, traceability, and accessibility based on company or norm regulations.
  • Continuous Improvement of DevOps Toolchain and Cycle: Constantly striving to improve through automation, feedback cycles, security enhancements and adapting to changes in the AWS/Azure environment.
  • On-call duty: You will be on the rotating on-call service.
Requirements:
  • Profound experience in a similar role in IT administration, operations management, monitoring, and support of relevant IT operation services/applications.
  • Broad knowledge of technologies such as .NET, Windows Server, MS-SQL, Azure DevOps.
  • Advanced AWS knowledge including deployment frameworks (serverless framework). Skills in Azure are welcome.
  • Knowledge of relevant scripting languages (PowerShell, Terraform).
  • Very good experience in IT service management.
  • Proficiency in English and German (both B2 level or higher) is necessary for this role.
Benefits
  • Remote* or hybrid: we work 80–100% remotely; however, we have regular on-site team events.
  • Structured Onboarding: you receive an individual onboarding plan, have multiple onboarding days in the beginning, and a wealth of e-learning, training, and documentation besides your team at your disposal.
  • Set-up: for this we will provide you with a tailored tech set-up (Dell devices, the standard remote package includes a notebook, 2 monitors, headset, mobile phone, mouse + keyboard, docking station).
    • ️ Balance job & life: flexible working hours: you decide where and when you work.
  • Our leadership style is based on results, not the process. Or in other words, we practice extreme ownership.

Culture:

❤️‍
  • Kununu Top Company since 2022: we're proud to state that our score currently sits at 4.2/5 score with an 85%+ recommendation rate.
  • We value ownership, cooperation, entrepreneurial thinking & self-reflection in order to communicate effectively as ONE team.
  • ️ Team culture is Key! We have fun at work and beyond: There is always something to celebrate and regular team events.
  • Come as you are – do you prefer T-shirts over a shirt? Great.
