Position Overview
Founded in 1993 and headquartered in Austin, Texas, Baxter Planning is a dynamic and rapidly growing company setting the standard for SaaS in the service supply chain planning space. We are developing many new products and solutions to build on our success in the market with our Prophet, LynX and Snapshot applications, as well as our AI capabilities.

We are looking for an experienced UX researcher to join our dynamic Barcelona team. You will be responsible for helping define and drive the future of our products. You will reveal what our users need from our products by conducting research, working with cross-functional teams, and performing usability studies. These responsibilities also include inspiring change, delivering oral and written presentations, evaluating qualitative and quantitative data, and helping the UX team better understand what would make a user’s experience more intuitive, accessible, and seamless. You will be working closely with product managers, designers and developer to identify and prioritize opportunities to satisfy both business and user goals. Purpose, Scope and Responsibilities
  • Plan, gather, and analyze, insights about users through new studies and review of existing data.
  • Compile finished, well-documented research findings to deliver meaningful and actionable insights for internal consumption.
  • Support the design of solutions that address requirements from a user, business, and technology perspective. Collaboration and compromise are needed to ensure the end solution meets all requirements
  • Manage, Execute, and analyze usability sessions, with support from other team members.
  • Take full ownership of all UX research and run multiple streams of work at one time.
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment that thrives on delivering value to our customers frequently.
  • Be the voice of the user on your team, alongside the Product Managers, ensuring that the products we deliver solve the customers’ problems while meeting commercial goals.
  • Be able to influence product and design decisions with excellent interpersonal skills.
  • Create a UX research roadmap for continuous improvement across the product.
  • Advising on the most appropriate research methods based on your experience.
  • Conduct competitor and exemplar analysis.
  • Conduct workshops with internal stakeholders to align business needs.
  • Collaborate across products/solutions to make sure user experience is aligned and consistent
  • Stay abreast of new and innovative trends in the field of user experience.
Requirements
  • Ability to work independently and autonomously while delivering impactful outcomes and results
  • 3+ years working as a UX researcher in a fast-paced environment.
  • Experience planning and executing research.
  • Proven competency in data analytics and qualitative aspects of UX research.
  • Strong commercial acumen with a positive, pragmatic attitude.
  • Proven ability to implement appropriate qualitative research methods effectively.
  • Experience with mobile-first experiences and design systems, with a demonstrated ability to think through end-to-end solutions with a strong user-centered approach
  • Degree in Human-Computer Interaction, Information Design, Computer Science, or equivalent work experience required.
  • Fluency in English language
  • Working knowledge of JIRA, Confluence and basic understanding of Scrum is a plus
  • Data visualization experience is plus
