Job Description


We are looking for a Junior HR Assistant to join our team. If you are an organised individual with a willingness to learn and develop in the HR field, this role is perfect for you. The position will focus on providing support in key HR areas, including recruitment, time management, administrative tasks, and occupational health and safety.


Qualifications


Primary duties

  • Recruitment support: Posting job advertisements, pre-screening candidates, coordinating interviews, and maintaining communication with candidates.
  • Time management: Overseeing employees’ working hours, updating records, and resolving any issues related to working hours.
  • Administrative tasks: Supporting the update of employee records, maintaining files and databases.
  • Occupational Health and Safety support: Managing health and safety training sessions, ensuring the correct distribution and use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE), and maintaining records related to workplace safety.
  • Document storage: Ensuring all employee-related documentation is correctly stored, both digitally and physically, in line with company policies and legal requirements.
  • General administration support: Assisting with a wide range of administration tasks, including employee inquiries, supporting employee engagement initiatives, and helping with administrative functions as needed.
  • Event organisation: Assisting in the organisation of office events, team-building activities, and other internal initiatives to promote a positive work environment.

Mandatory Requirements

  • A Higher Diploma in Business Administration and Finance, Labour Relations, HR Management, or a similar field.
  • Fluency in English and Spanish.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Proactive attitude and willingness to learn.
  • Good knowledge of Office / Google drive suite (excel, spreadsheets…).
  • Ability to work well in a team and in a dynamic environment.

  • Permanent full-time contract. 37.5 hours/week - At PAL, we believe in work-life balance and in order for every one of our employees to benefit, from 2024 we have pledged to work 2.5 hours less every week.
  • Flexible working hours and early finish at 14:00 on Fridays.
  • 26 working days of annual leave and the 24th and 31st of December are non-working days.
  • Opportunities for payment in kind and ongoing training initiatives.

  • Immediate start date.
