We are looking for a Junior Frontend Developer to join our team in either our Malmö, Sweden, or Marbella, Spain.

About the Role:

As a Junior Frontend Developer, you will support the development of Hero Gaming’s platform, enhancing user experiences across our sites: www.casinoheroes.com, www.casino.me, and www.bitdreams.comYou will be working in a collaborative, high-energy environment, gaining experience with the latest frontend technologies while contributing to our goal of creating cutting-edge user experiences.

Technical Skills:

• HTML, CSS, and JavaScript:

• Solid understanding of HTML structure and CSS styling.
• Familiarity with modern JavaScript concepts.

• React:

• Basic understanding of React components.
• Ability to work with JSX (JavaScript XML).
• Knowledge of component state management (e.g., useState) and passing state between components.
• Familiarity with props and how to pass data between components.
• Basic understanding of the component lifecycle and React hooks like useEffect.
• Basic knowledge of managing internal component state.

• Git and Version Control:

• Ability to work with Git (commit, pull, push, branching).
• Basic understanding of version control practices and resolving code conflicts.

• Working with APIs:

• Understanding of how to work with APIs, particularly using fetch.
• Knowledge of handling GET and POST requests, as well as parsing JSON responses.

• Responsive Design and UX/UI:

• Ability to create responsive applications using Flexbox or CSS Grid.
• Basic understanding of building intuitive and accessible user interfaces.

• Build Tools and React Development Setup:

• Familiarity with tools like npm/yarn and webpack.
• Basic knowledge of Node.js and GraphQL is a plus.
