Customworks España is a leading supplier of souvenir and art-related gift products to the heritage and gerenal retail sector, working with some of the world's most prestigious galleries and museums as well as independent retailers all over Europe.
We are currently seeking an experienced marketing and sales manager to grow our existing accounts and to generate new business both in Spain and across Europe.
You must have:
- The ability and desire to sell
- Be pro-active
- Excellent communication skills, with a relaxed and friendly manner
- A positive, confident and determined approach
- Resilience and the ability to cope with rejection
- High degree of self-motivation and ambition
- Collaborative outlook, with desire to fully integrate and work as part of a wider team
- High level of numeracy and literacy
- Driving licence
We also require a high level of written and spoken English, minimum B2, but higher would be an advantage because the role requires frequent interaction with Customworks UK and European clients. You should be prepared to travel internationally to attend trade fairs, possible new clients, existing clients and UK head office. This requires stamina, enthusiasm and an acceptance of occasional longer working hours.
We are seeking candidates who are qualified by experience. Qualifications in business, management, sales or marketing are an advantage, but more important is personality, attitude and commercial awareness. This role would suit someone who has an interest in art and design and who enjoys interaction with people from all walks of life. Candidates from a background in advertising, design or print industries would be considered favourably.
