Our venue welcomes up to 120 guests, making every event personal and memorable. We're known for our friendly service, good food, and the warm, welcoming atmosphere that makes guests feel right at home.

Tasks
Event Planning and Execution
1. Assist with Event Coordination: Support in planning and organizing events, ensuring each event runs smoothly. Identify opportunities to upsell additional services or packages to enhance the event and increase revenue.
2. Vendor Liaison: Communicate with vendors and negotiate for services that can be sold to clients, enhancing both the event experience and department revenue.
3. Setup and Breakdown: Help with the setup and breakdown of events.
4. Guest Services: Provide excellent service to guests.
5. Inventory Management: Keep track of event supplies and materials.
Marketing and Promotion
1. Content Creation: Design engaging visuals and materials (photos, videos) to showcase the venue’s features and past events, using graphic design tools and creative content.
2. Social Media Management: Implement strategies on social media to highlight the venue, share success stories, and attract event organizers.
3. Market Research: Connect with DMCs, wedding planners, and suppliers to expand the network and uncover new event opportunities.
4. Email Marketing: Utilize Mailchimp to send targeted campaigns promoting the venue to potential clients and partners, focusing on its unique offerings.
5. Analytics and Reporting: Analyze marketing data to identify what attracts bookings and adjust strategies to maximize event bookings and revenue.
Administrative Support
1. Scheduling: Manage and coordinate schedules for events, meetings, and client consultations, ensuring efficient use of time and resources.
2. Budget Tracking: Monitor event budgets, track expenses, and ensure all financial activities are within allocated budgets to maintain fiscal responsibility.
3. Communication: Serve as a key point of contact for clients, vendors, and team members, ensuring clear and timely communication across all stages of event planning and marketing campaigns.
4. Documentation: Keep comprehensive records of all events, marketing efforts, contracts, and client interactions to ensure everything is well-documented and easily accessible.
5. General Support: Provide broad support to the marketing and events team, assisting with various tasks as needed to facilitate smooth operations and successful execution of events and marketing initiatives.
Requirements
Essential Qualifications and Skills
1. Education: Degree in Marketing, Hospitality, Event Management, or related.
2. Experience: Experience in events, marketing, or hospitality. Familiarity with Canva, Photoshop, or InDesign preferred.
3. Languages: Fluent in both Spanish and English.
4. Technical Skills: Proficient in social media and Microsoft Excel.
5. Communication: Strong verbal and written communication skills.
6. Organizational Ability: Excellent at managing multiple tasks and events.
7. Customer Service: High focus on providing great service.
8. Transport: Must have a driving license and access to a car.
9. Flexibility: Willing to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends.
10. Attention to Detail: Detail-oriented in all aspects of work.
