Disputes & Investigations
A&M’s global Disputes & Investigations (DI) practice is a leading provider of forensic accounting, forensic technology, economic expert witness, dispute resolution and investigation services. The firm has an established reputation for high quality and conflict-free work. Our approach is characterised by a high level of objectivity, diligence and intensive analysis.
The DI team comprises of 400 professionals globally and our European practice has successful teams in London, Munich, Frankfurt, Athens, Madrid, Paris and Swiss.
This is an exciting opportunity to be part of a high growth new business area within the established A&M business.
Our Forensic Technology services include:
- Digital Forensics Investigations;
- Electronic Disclosure Management;
- Data Mining and Database Analytics; and
- Information Governance.
Requirements, skills and experience
Successful appointees in the Forensic Technology team are action-oriented self-starters with entrepreneurial flair. They are comfortable working independently as well as in high performing teams. Strong problem-solving skills and analytical rigor is key to their success. In addition, the successful candidate will have:
- Minimum 2 – 3 years’ experience in Forensic Technology at a leading practice specifically working in eDiscovery and Computer Forensics
- Proficiency using an eDiscovery tool such as Relativity and a full understanding of the necessary workflow required from data collection to review, including evidence handling
- Sound technical understanding of EnCase
- Fluent in Spanish and English is required (additional European language skills highly desirable)
- Thrives in a fast-paced, challenging, and unpredictable environment
- Fast learner, eager to learn new technologies
- Excellent written and verbal communications skills
- Objective, fact-based approach to problem solving
- Demonstrable ability to balance a high-level view with detail
- Capability of lateral-thinking and able to approach investigations and the resolution of problems
- A natural ability to prioritise – especially in highly pressurised situations
Academics and qualifications
- Ideally, Computer or Telecommunications Engineering, though other engineering training may also be suitable
- Certifications including RCA (Relativity Certified Administrator) or the Relativity Certified User, Nuix eDiscovery Specialist, EnCE, and ACE are advantageous, however they are not essential
