Job Description: Social Media Video Editor - Instagram, TikTok & YouTube Shorts Specialist

We’re seeking a dynamic and innovative Video Editor who lives and breathes social media trends and content creation. This role focuses on producing scroll-stopping sizzle reels, viral-worthy short-form content, and high-quality long-form videos for Instagram, TikTok, YouTube Shorts, and podcast platforms, tailored for influencers and entrepreneurs.

Key Responsibilities:

• Short-Form Content Creation:
• Create compelling short-form videos for Instagram Reels, TikTok, and YouTube Shorts, including:
• Sizzle reels, podcast highlights, POV experiences, and trend-driven edits.
• Utilize b-roll, illustrations, and dynamic transitions to enhance storytelling.
• Stay ahead of social media trends to craft content that resonates with the audience and has the potential to go viral.
• Long-Form Video Editing:
• Edit and produce long-form videos for YouTube, courses, or client projects, ensuring high-quality visuals and audio throughout.
• Collaborate on multi-angle podcast edits, combining video and audio seamlessly for a professional, polished look.
• Use dynamic angles, captivating transitions, and attention-grabbing overlays to elevate production value.
• Podcast Editing:
• Edit multi-camera podcast recordings with synced audio, ensuring clean, polished transitions.
• Integrate captions, b-roll, and other visuals to enhance viewer engagement.
• Prepare podcast edits optimized for both social media snippets and full-length platforms.
• Trend-Driven Adaptation:
• Analyze and leverage the latest trends on TikTok, Instagram, and YouTube Shorts.
• Incorporate trending audio, effects, and styles into edits while maintaining brand alignment.
• Live Production Support:
• Travel on-site as needed to provide live editing for productions, delivering timely, professional content.
• Platform Optimization:
• Adapt content for various platforms, ensuring all videos meet format specifications and optimize audience reach.

Tools You'll Use:

• Video Editing Software: CapCut, Adobe Premiere
• Audio Editing Tools: Adobe Audition or equivalent
• Content Design Software: Canva or similar for templates and graphics

About You:

You’re a storyteller at heart with a passion for creating banger edits that captivate and inspire. Whether it’s a multi-angle podcast, a long-form vlog, or a trending Reel, you know how to turn raw content into professional-grade, shareable masterpieces.

What We’re Looking For:

• 3+ years of proven experience creating compelling, shareable videos across short-form and long-form platforms.
• Expert knowledge of TikTok, Instagram, YouTube Shorts, and podcast trends.
• Proficiency in editing multi-angle videos and syncing audio for a seamless final product.
• Advanced skills in video editing tools like CapCut and Adobe Premiere (Adobe Audition is a bonus).
• Strong eye for transitions, dynamic cuts, and engaging visuals that bring content to life.
• Familiarity with social media algorithms and how to create content that performs.
• Excellent organizational skills and the ability to juggle multiple projects while meeting tight deadlines.
• A proactive, team-oriented mindset with a passion for creative collaboration.
• Bonus: Strong copywriting skills for captions that grab attention on Instagram and TikTok.

Job Types: Part-time, Contract
Contract length: 12 months

Pay: 1,500.00€ - 2,000.00€ per month
