We from Cafetaria 't Smulhuis, are looking for a motivated Independent chef for our restaurant. Our Restaurant is in the Netherlands, in the city of Otterlo,Harskamperweg 6, 6731AB. We are looking for some one who can work at least for 38 hours a week full time. Contact Sir Hu via smulhuisotterlo@hotmail.com.
Who are you:
- Chef diploma comparable to a Dutch MBO-3 diploma (diploma evaluation required/will be done in the netherlands to prove this)
- You are quality oriented ( compliance with HACCP)
- You are a teamplayer
- You are stress resistant and are able to switch quickly.
- You can work quickly without sacrificing quality.
What are your tasks:
- You contribute to mise and place
- Preparing starters and main dishes
- Baking, Frying, Roasting, and wok dishes
- Monitoring and controlling quality, doneness, taste, colour, fluidity .
- Marinating meats, fish and poultry
- When a Cook is not present you are prepared to take over his duties.
- Good knowledge of oriental ingredients and their use.
- Cleaning your own environment, kitchen equipment’s, and machines and you help to clean the entire kitchen.
- In case of illness, partly take over from the sous-chef / all-round chef by learning tasks and by training
- You are creative and result oriented
