Reporting to the Director of Engineering, this role is responsible for being the technical team lead, building, enhancing and maintaining APIs and Web UI to enable Sage’s business plans and long-term objectives using the identified architecture.

The Engineering Team Lead will provide strong technical leadership and focus to a team of technical pecialists and will also contribute to the technical analysis, design and build of solutions required.

The successful candidate will be a member of a multi-disciplined team located in Barcelona but working globally with colleagues across multiple regions.

Responsabilidades principales

  • Develop, deliver, maintain and implement high quality technical solutions

  • Take technical ownership of functions/features or services as defined by the development team

  • Participate in all phases of the project lifecycle.

  • Maintain relevant documentation to describe logic, coding/configuration, testing and changes where applicable.

  • Provide (along with your team) support for production environment,

  • Continuously strive to make improvements to the existing products and/or systems and services.

  • Seek out and act upon feedback.

  • Other mentoring and coaching to junior members of the development team.

  • Ensure all tasks are completed to the required quality standards.

  • Keep up to date with relevant technology areas.
