Overview:
Are you ready to drive PepsiCo’s digital evolution and accelerate transformation across our global operations?

The Digital Product Management team is tasked with articulation of the vision and leading the execution and implementation of PepsiCo’s next generation global Digital and Data infrastructure. The scope encompasses the full Strategy & Transformation agenda, leading all Digital and Data product roadmap initiatives, and is intended to manifest as components of a Data/Digital platforms which enable all business functions at Global scale.


The IBP Demand Planning - Digital Product Owner will be a critical member of the global IBP digital product management team and local market teams. The IBP Demand Planning - Digital Product Owner owns the technical solution delivery of continuous improvement for PepsiCo IBP tool with a focus on demand planning and forecasting components, including both functional and technical aspects. This includes deploying the global IBP template and local market configuration for the PepsiCo IBP Tool. He/she will work cross functionally with process & planning, data science, data and IT teams to deliver improvements of IBP Demand Planning digital capability for local markets. The IBP Demand Planning - Digital Product Owner will have to adapt to the dynamic needs of the business and ensure IBP tool is positioned to drive optimal business value. This includes balancing the development of a global digital product vs. local market needs.

Responsibilities:

Your day-to-day- with us:

  • Own and lead the continuous improvement and optimization of the Demand Planning and Forecasting digital capability of PepsiCo IBP tool in a local market, covering both technical and functional aspects.

  • Collaborate in fit-gap sessions to refine and document the evolving future-state design of Demand Planning and Forecasting process for the local markets.

  • Support ongoing analysis and iterative refinement of Demand Analysis and Forecasting working with Data Science to validate hypothesis, fine tune forecast engine configurations, identify key demand drivers by channel and optimize forecasting levels.

  • Define & document the evolving functional design to ensure its accurate representation in functional specification for the demand planning and forecasting tool working closely with planning team, data science team, and consulting partners.

  • Support Data and Analytics team to ensure all data objects (GDO’s), including demand drivers, are defined, documented, and meet all business requirements

  • Continuously identify and address business and user requirements to improve processes within planning system, system’s architecture and respective digital capabilities.

  • Partner with the Data and Analytics team to refine and validate all data objects (GDOs), including demand drivers, ensuring they remain aligned with business needs.

  • Own and manage the iterative digital product roadmap, prioritizing enhancements and new features for the market in collaboration with Global IBP product managers/CoE.

  • Manage and improve cross-workstream dependencies in partnership with Supply Planning and IBP Forums teams.

  • Ensure the ongoing delivery of high-quality products, driving a culture of continuous improvement and excellence.

  • Demonstrate a passion for ongoing enhancement and optimization in product digital design and delivery.

Qualifications:

Qualifications

  • 3+ years of deployment and/or continuous development of Demand Planning and Forecasting digital tools and capabilities leveraging industrial standards such as o9 (preferable) or SAP IBP or similar ones.

  • 3+ years of digital product management experience continuously refining strategic product roadmaps and working with cross-functional teams in a highly matrixed environment preferred.

  • Experience of managing evolving technical and functional design direction, incorporating user feedback and performance data, reflecting and maintaining respective changes in functional specifications.

  • Experience in leading and delivering through external partners.

  • Understanding data analytics, forecasting models (time-series, driver-based Machine Learning) and experience iterating models post deployment to improve accuracy will be a plus.

  • Proven experience in refining and optimizing digital products throughout the lifecycle, including ongoing iterations and enhancements, proven experience of using Agile and DevOps practices in product development.

  • Bachelor’s degree required; degree in quantitative or engineering related field preferred.

Skills, Abilities, Knowledge:
  • Experience working with SAP and O9 required.

  • Excellent organizational and problem-solving skills, with a focus on identifying improvement opportunities and making
    incremental changes.

  • Adaptable and flexible mindset to effectively respond to changing needs and drive improvements in a dynamic environment

  • Strong leadership, organizational and interpersonal skills; capable of managing trade-offs.
