About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Fintech Analyst/Project Manager to join our growing team. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of the financial technology landscape in both Spain and the United States, with specific expertise in consumer lending programs offered by banks and credit unions.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct in-depth market research and analysis of the Spanish and American fintech markets, with a focus on consumer lending trends, competitive landscape, and emerging technologies.
• Analyze existing bank and credit union consumer lending programs in Spain, including both direct lending and point-of-sale financing options.
• Identify opportunities for innovation and improvement in consumer lending processes and products.
• Develop and manage fintech projects from conception to implementation, ensuring alignment with business objectives and regulatory requirements.
• Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders, including technology partners, financial institutions, and regulatory bodies.
• Prepare comprehensive reports and presentations to communicate findings and recommendations to senior management.
• Stay abreast of industry developments and regulatory changes impacting the fintech sector.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Business Administration, or a related field.
• 5-10 years of experience in the financial technology industry, with a focus on consumer lending.
• Strong understanding of the Spanish and American fintech markets.
• In-depth knowledge of credit union and bank consumer lending programs in Spain.
• Proven project management skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
• Strong communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills.
• Fluency in Spanish and English (written and spoken).

Bonus Points:

• Master's degree in a relevant field.
• Experience working with point-of-sale financing solutions.
• Familiarity with agile project management methodologies.
