We’re seeking a (Senior) Full Stack Developer to join our fully remote team and help build a robust Advanced Planning and Scheduling (APS) product that empowers manufacturers to streamline production planning and respond more effectively to operational changes.

In this role, you will design and implement robust backend APIs using Python and FastAPI, tackling complex business logic specific to the APS domain—ranging from efficient scheduling and optimization to seamless integration with manufacturing systems. You’ll also connect these APIs to an Angular-based frontend, collaborating closely with product and design teams to deliver a coherent and maintainable user experience.

While we operate remotely across Germany and Spain, we come together several times a year for in-person meetups to strengthen team spirit and align on our shared vision.

What we look for

• Backend Development with Python – Proven experience designing scalable backend architectures and implementing complex business logic . Skilled in building reliable RESTful APIs with FastAPI and applying design patterns to ensure clean, maintainable, and high-performance systems.
• Frontend Development with Angular & TypeScript – Skilled in building modern, scalable frontends, with a focus on reusable components, responsive design, maintainability, and cross-browser compatibility.
• Cross-Team Collaboration – Experience working closely with developers and designers to align API design with UI/UX needs.
• Testing Expertise – You build and evolve automated test suites and integrate them into CI/CD workflows.
• Security Best Practices – Solid understanding of authentication, access control, encryption, and cloud security principles.
• Pragmatic problem-solver – You enjoy making sense of complexity, improving code structure, and finding practical solutions — whether it’s simplifying algorithms or evolving backend architecture.

Great Extras to Have

• Manufacturing or APS Domain Knowledge: Understanding of manufacturing processes or experience working with related software APS/ERP/MES systems (or similar domain-specific applications) is a plus.
• CI/CD Pipelines – Hands-on experience implementing and maintaining CI/CD workflows using GitLab CI/CD or similar tools.
• Proficiency in German is a plus
