What We're Looking For

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Backend Developer to join our team and contribute to the development and maintenance of our core product, WellFunnel.

Our Platform team develops and maintains WellFunnel, a comprehensive solution empowering businesses to create personalized onboarding experiences for their mobile apps. WellFunnel utilizes interactive surveys to gather key user insights before registration, which drives engagement and boosts conversions. These wizards are built and customized through WellFunnel Builder, an advanced control panel used by product marketing managers. WellFunnel Studio then displays these personalized wizards to users based on specific advertising links, further enhancing the user experience and collecting valuable data for analysis.

Key responsibilities:

• Creating and supporting APIs for mobile apps
• Creating and supporting internal Admin panels for mobile apps
• Working with mobile app subscriptions
• Working with the Core AWS services (AWS Lambda / API Gateway / SQS / CloudFormation / CloudWatch / SNS)
• Contributions to System Design of the overall product
• Operating and supporting systems running in production

Required skills:

• Strong knowledge of Python 3
• Knowledge of and the ability to work with relational DBs (Postgres or others)
• Experience with SQLAlchemy (or any other ORM)
• Experience with cloud-based stacks, e.g. AWS (Lambda/API Gateway/SQS/SES/CloudFormation/CloudWatch)
• Willing to choose the right tool for each challenge, including expanding beyond the Python tech stack when needed
• Ability to highlight risks and propose efficient solutions
• Ability to learn fast, collaborate cross-functionally and communicate effectively
• Good command of English

Nice to have:

• Experience working with non-relational DBs (NoSQL, etc.)
• Experience working with data, multimedia (audio/video) or various communication protocols (e.g. websockets, rpc)
• Experience working with asynchrony in Python
• Experience with frontend
