People talk and are friendly, but when it is time to work most people turn into robots. This is my second time and it is a job and it does start out paying good.
You build up time off quickly.
The work is the same about every day.

Amazon it's the most famous place to work but overall it's a great way to grow up in your way to success, Do you have there, support from management, management assistant, co worker, facility to follow your education and improve your skill.
Exactly what you would expect. Standing/walking 100% of the time. First couple weeks will be hard but after that your body will get used to the work.
4 days on 3 days off. Days go by fast.
HR can be frustrating. Sometimes you don't get benefits day 1.
Absolutely loved working at cwl fulfilment Centre, would definitely work there again for peak season, made lots of friends. Anything you are unsure of there is always someone who can help
Good teamwork, good team leaders
Long hours, lots of walking
I loved working at amazon the only reason why I left is that I was afraid of getting the covid19 virus. I loved the insurance, I enjoyed working with the people plus I had great supervisors
Great ins, great pay, paid holidays and paid time off
Long 10hour days hard hard work but satisfying
I was in order picker for the company during the middle of the covid crisis. Amazon is what Amazon has always been a big warehouse with 300+ people running around. Whichever job title you pick it will be fully explained for the most part and you won't be left in the dark , but I don't recommend working here for anyone who isn't healthy and up to par.
They will get rid of you as soon as business slows down even 10%. Zero hour contract. All that worked through out Christmas without taking sick day, meant to get bonus. Lie! Lie! Lie! .... If you're agency worker do not believe what they tell you at induction. Even if you run/work hard and take no toilet brakes they will still get rid of you sooner or later. Advice: just do your job at your own speed. Don't listen to "management". They will lie to get you to do their bidding so they can do absolutely nothing all day. Remember, you are just a easily replaceable number in their view.
Free hot drink.
Management + everything else.
I worked at Amazon for 6 months. Some of the managers treat you like a statistic and only care about your rate. The turnover rate is extremely high because of how "zombified the work is." I consistently had one of the highest rates, and yet I never got congratulated, or was never offered to be trained in other areas of the warehouse.
Easy to make friends
Short breaks, you get outworked
It's an okay job, they will hire you on the spot and the pay is great as well. will not stay here though because they will work you like a robot. You have to be on your feet most of the time, only good thing is that they give you PTO right away but thats about it.
Was not the best place to work for. No flexibility like promised. I was pregnant and denied several accommodations. Security is excessive and overbearing. Just overall not a good fit for a family person. This job is for people with no other responsibilities other than Amazon. They don't care about their staff at all
